The client first reached out to us through our website’s contact form with a short message about their situation. Their south-facing bedroom was getting far too hot in the summer, and they weren’t sure what type of air-conditioning would suit them,they were completely open to ideas. The only thing they were certain about was the look: “no white box on the wall!” We gave them a quick, friendly call to introduce ourselves and arrange a visit at a time that worked for them. When we arrived, we took a look at the room sizes, talked through the best pipework options, and worked out where the outdoor unit would fit tidily and discreetly.
The next step was to send over a few options for the air conditioning unit keeping in mind the one clear rule: no white box on the wall.

Our client had a choice of three premium systems, all highly efficient and all with built-in WiFi. The only real difference was the aesthetics. It felt a bit like Goldilocks and the Three Bears: the gloss finish was too shiny and stood out too much, the titanium option was better but still a bit reflective… but the Daikin matt-black premium unit was just right. It suited the room perfectly and matched exactly what the client had in mind. With the unit chosen, the next step was to arrange the deposit. All our installations require a 50% security deposit upfront, which covers part of the cost of the units and materials and secures your installation date. Once we contacted our wholesalers to confirm availability, we got in touch with the client and arranged the perfect installation date and time to fit around their lifestyle. We know most households are juggling work, parenting and busy schedules, so we always aim to make the installation process as smooth and disruption-free as possible.
Our client travels frequently for work, so we made sure to schedule the installation on a date that suited them. The day before, we checked in to confirm everything was still good to go. On the morning of the install, we contacted them again to let them know our estimated arrival time, which we always arrange in advance. We believe communication is key, it keeps everyone on the same page and avoids turning up unexpectedly. There’s nothing worse than a client being unprepared or having to rush around at the last minute, so staying in touch helps the day run smoothly and stress-free for everyone.
